Cheesy Potatoes

This one is courtesy of my Mom...

What you'll need:
1-can of Cream of Celery Soup
1-8 oz. of Sour Cream
1-bag of shredded cheddar cheese (the smaller size you can buy at the grocery store will be perfect)
1-2 lb. bag of frozen hashbrowns (not shredded, but squared)
1-Stick of Butter

Mix everything except the butter together in either 1 glass pan that is 11 x 7 x 2 in. or 2 that are 8 x 8 x 1 1/2 in.

You can save a little bit of cheese and put it right on the top of the potatoes

Once everything is mixed, heat the stick of butter in the microwave so it is completely melted. Pour the melted butter on top of the mixture, pouring it over the whole thing.

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees, cook for 1 hour, or until sides are browned
Note: If you have a newer model of oven, you may only need to cook it between 30-45 minutes.

  1. sweetie, please change it to cook for one hour. That is the proper cooking time.
